The Dress

This dress made me feel like an absolute princess! It might sound cringey but I never thought I wanted a bigger, more traditional dress until I tried it on and fell in love. I was only having a very small wedding, so only wore it for a few hours (we didn't have an evening do) but it was worth it as I felt amazing in it.

You can see the dress from the original fitting in the shop (and me without makeup!) to the day itself. I was fortunate and the dress fit almost perfectly already so only very minor alterations were made (mainly to the length and train). I'm around 5'4"-5'4" and I wore small heels for the day. You can see the train was brought in slightly from the original fitting as I still wanted some train at the back but not so long as it was originally. I was a size 12/14 at the time and it fit beautifully. It has pads inside so no bra is needed and it supported me a lot, given my bust isn't small. The colour is technically 'ivory champagne' which gives it a beautiful shine in different lights too.

As much as I'm gutted to be selling it, it's quite a large dress within its cover to be sat in my house unused when it could be making someone else feel amazing too.

It's been freshened up but not dry cleaned. It was only worn a few hours during the day too. There is so much beautiful detail to the dress - I've looked around it and I can't see any detail on the dress damaged either.

I got married in 2018 and since then it has been hung up within it's cover so completely protected. I just really didn't want to sell it initially but I think it's time now I let go of it!
