The Dress

Galatea dress by Willowby Watters in titanium. Similar to the Hearst dress sold at BHLDN. Purchased this dress on Stillwhite from someone who had never worn it but it was used as a floor model in a bridal shop. I wore it for my elopement for a couple of hours & would now love to pass it on to someone else!

CARE:
Hand washed it in my bathtub but if you want a deeper clean than that it may need to be professionally dry-cleaned.

ALTERATIONS:
I had the straps shortened but otherwise no alterations (looks like the alteration I made could be easily undone as well).

IMPERFECTIONS:
There is a small section at the bottom of the front of the dress where the tulle ripped slightly (pictured). I don’t think it’s noticeable & if you need the dress hemmed/shortened it will likely be cut off anyway (be aware if you do need the dress hemmed that it will likely be an expensive alteration, I am about [removed]” & wore it without heels and it just skimmed the ground), also a few of the floral appliqués are separating on one side, again not super noticeable & I think this would be a fairly easy fix as well but not sure. Slight discoloring on velvet straps (again not super noticeable, would probably brighten up if dry cleaned!)

I would recommend this dress for an adventure elopement, was very easy to put on, I was able to drive a car while wearing it and hiking in it was fairly easy as well!
