The Dress

This dress was beautiful and I was so glad I got it as absolutely loved wearing it on the day. The material is great, it’s fitted but the crepe is thick enough to not really need shapewear. I went back and forth on so many dresses prior to the day but so glad I went with this dress! I’m obviously not going to wear it again so looking to see if someone else wants to wear it for their day. I had the best day in it and hope you also will!

It is the standard Archie with a 3cm lift to the neckline, I got a size 10 (U.K.) and then had a seamstress amend it slightly, mainly around the waist and to add a bustle. I am 5ft 7, 32E and usually a size 10 but with amendments I’d say this is good for an 8 or a 10 (seamstress said it was easy to take in/up). Dress was purchased in March 22 from the made with love store in London for £2200, worn in Aug 22 and has been professionally dry cleaned Sept 22. Comes in the made with love bag. There are a couple of very tiny marks on the bottom of the train (can literally only see if you’re about 2cm away from the mark!) but if you’re shorter than 178cm with heels you’d need it altered anyway to bring the hem up! Creases also steam out easily, just used a steamer on the morning of the wedding.
