The Dress

Introducing the beautiful “Butter” gown by Georgia Young Couture.

Made to order from the Ocean collection in late 2021, for a late April 2022 wedding. Made locally in Melbourne, all alterations and fittings by Georgia Young herself!

Label size 14, street size 12. Bust to hem measurement is 138cm, length from first pleat to front hem is 112cm. I’m 169cm and wore 9cm heels.

Stunning, timeless, elegant gown with clean cut lines and bold draping.

Super soft, matt finish crepe fabric. This dress was incredibly comfortable to wear all day and night, including seated dinner and dancing. Lined with a corset bodice, creating the most beautiful silhouette.

Full professional dry clean within 48 hours of wear.

Alterations

Professionally altered: hemmed, inserted press stud underneath the back detail to ensure it stayed in place, taken in at boddice to ensure it was extra snug, bustle added to shorten the train for dancing.
