The Dress

This was my absolute dream wedding dress and I'm still obsessed with it - selling as I'd love it to be used again (as it deserves!) rather than hanging in my wardrobe.

This design from Luci di Bella is classic yet modern and featured in multiple bridal magazines (including HelloMay and Together Journal). The fabric is a stunning ivory silk that holds its shape well. The dress has a fitted bodice with boning on each side to give it structure, so I didn't wear a bra or stick-ons under it. The V-neck line is mirrored at the back (noting that the back 'V' is plunging to give it a semi-backless feel). The bottom half of the dress is draped to reveal a flattering split when the bride is walking - this is currently stitched so that the split goes to mid-thigh but this could easily be altered so that it is higher or lower depending on preference.

I had this dress custom made by Luci di Bella in Melbourne and it was worn for one day only and drycleaned shortly afterwards. It's in almost perfect condition - only the lining (on the inside) at the end of the train has discoloured a little but this can't be seen when worn (as the outer silk covers it).
