The Dress

This dress was everything and more that I could've hoped for on my special day. The beading alone is stunning and fits comfortably. The A-line skirt allowed me to move freely throughout the night, especially for our first dance I was able to spin and around and dip without any restrictions.

My favourite part of the dress is the cheeky split on the dress. It has a polka dot tule underneath the main skirt so when you sit down it shows the subtle dots through the sheer skirt. The material is so comfortable and breathable too. When I first purchased the dress I thought the straps would be uncomfortable due to their thin shape and beading, however I didn't have any issues on the night and it didn't cut into my skin.

The dress has been drycleaned and was collected on the 20th of August. We were married on June the 25th 2022. On closer inspection of the dress, there is no visible damage and the condition is fantastic. We were lucky enough to have a dry wedding day. There were a few loose threads, which I have had repaired.

When I chose it, it was not what I originally had imagined for my dress but trying it on, it was the most stunning dress to wear. I definitely felt beautiful and perfect for my wedding day. I couldn't have hoped for more.

Alterations

The dress cup inserts were changed from the Rosa Clara ones to a nude cup insert.
The straps were reduced slightly to lift the bodice.
A lining was placed in the dress from the whole front bodice waist to straps.
8 bustles were added to the back to lift up and attach the train of the dress to the back buttons.
