The Dress

Hello!

I originally purchased this beautiful dress at a sample sale for Melbourne designer Cathleen Jia.
After many cancelled and changed plans I have decided to go with a different style which means I get to give someone else the opportunity to show this dress off on their special day!

The dress is actually two completely separate pieces and has not been altered at all.

The first piece is the under slip “Trixy” which is a short and flirt silk bias cut gown with silk georgette straps.
Outer- 100% matte silk
Lining- 100% silk satin

The second piece is the outer layer “Vivien” which Cathleen describes as a romantic polka-dot tulle gown with a center back open slit. The hand pieced delicate scalloped lace frames the bodice adds a vintage dimension to this gown. The short sleeves feature center slits with thin silk band tie.

 
These once were sample sizes however they are in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear and no tears or holes.

Vivienne was RRP 1990 and Trixy RRP 1299. Selling both together for $850.
I could be willing to separate them.
