The Dress
This dress is new and has never been worn. I got it in November 2019 from David's Bridal (planned to be married in May 2020) but COVID derailed our plans and I ended up ultimately wearing a different dress when we did get married later on because I didn't fit this one anymore. I'm so bummed I didn't get to wear it!
Why it's awesome:
- It has a really fun scalloped lacy pattern on it that looks kind of like mermaid scales
- It's made of soft, stretchy material that is really easy to move around and dance in
- There is a slit in the front up to about mid-thigh height (depending on how tall you are) which is fun 'n' flirty
- There is a little train but it is not overwhelming
Alterations
Originally, the dress was strapless, but we added the thin straps to ensure that it wouldn't slip down.
