The Dress

Gorgeous slip dress, made to measure from UK boutique E&W Couture, purchased through Moonstruck Bridal in Melbourne. Incredibly comfortable and flattering for many body shapes. Very soft and light to wear - perfect for a bride who doesn’t want to feel weighed down in layers of fabric. Easy to move around in and you can easily wear this all day. Sad to sell it, but in reality, I’ll never wear it again. It’s a really versatile gown - I bought a lace crop online at a sale from another bridal stockist that matched perfectly. (Pictured - not for sale). The E&W range of crops and toppers are stunning and would be an amazing pair for this slip, but plenty of other brands would work perfectly too. Can be dressed up or down depending on your style. Was worn once on the wedding day. Has been professionally dry cleaned and there are no visible marks or stains. Alterations

The 12 was slightly too big for me, so it’s been taken in around the bust/chest and also taken up at the hem (because I’m short!). I’m about 164cm tall and I wore heels that came in at about 5cm. The dress sat just on my toes, so was easy to walk around in, and it is a little longer at the back (but not a full train, just a modest amount of extra fabric to to give it shape - looks lovely and elegant) The strap adjusters were removed (looks nicer without them!), but there is a bit of wiggle room, so they could be made longer with a clever alteration for someone who may be taller than me.
