The Dress

Beautiful Sophia Tolli 'Jacqui'
This is a fabulous dress with a stunning train. The dress is made with 3 layers of fabric: satin, a sheer mesh with sequins and the top layer of gorgeous chantilly lace. The bottom edge is scalloped down to the points of the lace pattern.
The dress isn't overly 'blingy' the sparkle is quite subtle but in the light it's just stunning.

I had little straps and a keyhole back made. Which I will include (details in alterations section)

The dress is boned from the bust down to the hips and held in all my 'wobbly bits' and helped ecentuate my curves.
It was really comfortable to wear. It fit me perfectly and I didn't feel any need to pull it up at all as I've seen some brides do with strapless gowns.
I enjoyed wearing it so, so much. I felt like a true Goddess for a day.

I had a belt rose-gold rhinestone belt added by the seamstress but this can be easily unpicked as it was hand sewn. (I will leave it attached)
I had the dress dry-cleaned the week after our wedding. I went over it with a fine-toothed-comb BEFORE it was cleaned as I had to note any damage before they took it as it was their policy to cover themselves.
It's in fantastic condition there are some loose threads inside the cups of the bodice where I had some padding attached for lift but I snipped the threads and removed them on the day of the wedding.
The ribbon that fastens the corset is a little creased from where is was criss-crossed through the corset ribbons.
There are no stains or marks on the dress. I wasn't planning on ever selling it but it's silly to have her hiding in a dress bag when she can make another bride have her own Goddess moment.

Alterations

The dress was professionally altered by a fabulous seamstress. A bustle was made so the train was easily lifted and attached at the back on a small hook so you can kick off your shoes and dance the night away
I was advised by the bridal shop staff to order a UK size 20 even though I was about a 14/16 at the time because I am big busted so the front of the dress fit my cup-size (I'm an F/FF cup) so this will be perfect for a girl that is 'blessed' in the bust area, like me.
I had a keyhole back/straps made in the same lace (as an idea if how beautiful the lace is; 1 yard cost £180) which was sepearte went over my head and was attached by poppers that are still in place. I am happy to include this with the dress although as it was made to measure it may not fit as pictured on me.
(I also had little pads attached inside the cups but removed them on the day as it felt comfier without)
