The Dress

The iconic Bon Bride style - the BB:05 is an off the shoulder wedding dress made in a soft crepe fabric, with open draped back and a puddle train.

Perfect for a minimal bride still wanting to look elevated yet cool, to suit ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners and engagement parties.

The off the shoulder, long sleeves are finished with invisible zip details at the wrist, while the low-draped back shows just the right amount of skin. The heavy silk crepe feels super luxe and falls nicely throughout the body.

I had this dress made to measure - I have a size 10 bust and waist and 12 hips, so it's fitted the from the waist down while the bust sat a little looser (but didn't fall down at all throughout the day, helped by my D size bust). It also has elastic at the top of the arms to keep it up, plus a removable grosgrain belt that cinches in the waist.
*Please note, I had the pockets removed as I didn't want them bunching on my hips as I was after a fitted look overall.

I am quite tall at 178cm without heels, so the puddle train (when worn with 8cm heels) was smaller than usual BB:05's at around 20-30cm.

The dress also can be shortened for dancing with a hidden button and loop.

This dress would fit a size 10-12 with similar measurements to me, or a size 10 after a more relaxed fit (like in the Bon Bride campaign). The dress is also a simple design so it can easily be altered.

I purchased this from a stockist on the south coast of NSW who liaised directly with the owner/designer of Bon Bride to have it custom made.
It was worn once on my wedding day in April 2021 and was dry cleaned at White Specialty Dry Cleaners in Bellevue Hill, one of the best wedding dress dry cleaners in Australia, and is in perfect condition.
