The Dress

Initially, I knew I wanted a skirt overlay or a cape since I love to have a touch that is slightly different than what brides usually wear. Since having both wasn't possible, I opted for the skirt overlay. it was perfect! The dress is not white, it is Ivory with a hint of peach if you ask me (see pictures). I felt like a princess and what I liked about the dress is that, after the mass and the first dance, I was able to remove the skirt which made me feel a lot lighter. I insisted on wearing the skirt overlay until the first dance because it was a statement (the dress with the skirt that is). The dress fit perfectly and I received many many compliments the night of my wedding. Thankfully, the dress is in perfect condition and dry cleaned.

Alterations

We didn't do much alterations, the dress was already my size, but since I lost weight in the process, they had to close it a bit.
The alterations were done at the hem to shorten the dress.
At the waist since I lost a bit of weight.
Also at the sleeves so it can elevate my bust a little bit.
