The Dress
Sarah Seven Gold Label. This dress is a separate skirt + top. Skirt is meant to be worn OVER the top, overlapping about a half-inch. The skirt is made up of two layers, the inside acts as a liner and has a zip in the back. The top has hand-sewn sequins all over it. It has a sewn-in bra as well as different sized bra-type clasps to adjust the circumference. I'm a 34"A bra size. Bought in the San Francisco location of Sarah Seven.
This dress made me feel slinky and beautiful. I loved that it was a separate skirt and top but no one could tell. It fit like a glove and I had zero issues walking or dancing in it. I dried cleaned it immediately after the wedding and it's been stored in its original bag, unworn, ever since.
The skirt is 39.5" long and waist is 12.5" across (so 25" around). The top, from highest point of sweetheart neckline to bottom is 11". The circumference of the top is adjustable, from 23.5" to 25.5".
Alterations
Got the skirt taken in so that it would fit closer to my body around the hips/butt area.
