The Dress

Incredibly simple and sleek yet uniquely detailed, the T.S. dress features an intricate cross strap detail and elegant low backline. The textural pleated tulle of this dress is light and airy, allowing a glimpse of the fitted silk satin crepe lining below. The front of the dress is in perfect condition. The back of the dress has some minor damage, as shown in the video. There is a tear at the top back of the tulle, that I’ve roughly hand sewn together with clear chord, but can be mended much more invisibly with a thinner clear thread and smaller stitches! The bottom back of the tulle has lost some of its pleated effect and has some small holes and tears, none of which are very visible when wearing the dress.

If you are more petite (5’4” and under) or are looking for a midi-length dress, the dress can easily be hemmed to remove said area and it would look like new!

I also have a few pieces of extra tulle (one measuring 5.5” long, and 14-34cm across (cut skinnier in middle and wide at ends)) that would be beautiful used as a matching veil or sewn on to the back of dress completely shielding the areas with imperfections.

Alterations

Dress was altered to fit me (see measurements). I’m a size 32B and generally a size 4 or small on top, and 4 or 6 on the bottom. The inner dress has some stretch so would easily fit a size 6. This also makes it very comfortable to wear and move in!
