The Dress

With off white lace and a baby pink silk underlay, the dress has just the right amount of color to offer modern elements to a traditional romantic design. The lace features intricate and unique detailing throughout the bodice and skirt all along the edge of a gorgeous train that is truly romantic. A Ballroom Bustle was added for the train to allow complete freedom on the dance floor and you can see how beautiful it bustles in some of the reception photos. I fell in love with the color, lace design, and fit of this dress. It perfectly accentuated my body and made me feel beautiful the entire day.

The dress has some minor flaws. The train will need some spot cleaning on the edges from where it touched the floor during the ceremony. The clasp for the top button on the back over the zipper needs repaired as it was pulled too tight when removing the dress, however the button is still intact. The lace is in excellent condition.

Alterations

Taken in at the bust, waist, and hips. Ordered larger than necessary in case of weight gain and altered closer to the wedding date when weight was lost. Cups added to the bust to be bra free. Ballroom bustle was added. This bustle tends to transform the dress silhouette from the back, essentially making the train disappear. With a ballroom bustle, it doesn't even look like the dress has been bustled at all, but rather gives the illusion that it was a floor-length gown all along.
