The Dress
This is the Ellijay dress from Blue Willow by Anne Barge (https://www.annebarge.com/products/ellijay), purchased for my 2020 wedding. It is a gorgeous and delicate lace dress, with thoughtful and unique details such as the scalloped lace neckline. It was the first and only wedding dress I tried on. I has only been worn once for several hours. We had a small COVID wedding, so no big reception with lots of wild dancing (and sweating). It is dry cleaned and in excellent condition. It is the silk white/latte color, so the lace itself is white, and the fabric under the lace is more of a cream color. There are some very subtle sequins on the lace. It is fitted on the upper part of the leg, but there is still enough room to move, sit, and dance!
Alterations
I ordered the size 6 (which was recommended to have a little more wiggle room in the thigh area) and had it altered to be more like a 4 (my usual size). A bustle was added, and some fabric was taken in around the bust area (my bra size is 32C), so there is some fabric to let out if needed.
