The Dress

I feel like it is hard to always feel 100% comfortable and confident in white, especially when it is a figure-hugging white dress. For someone who has always been on the "curvier" side, my goal for my wedding dress was just to be really slimming, to hide some flaws and to highlight my assets. Tall order, I know!! But, putting on my wedding dress for the first, I remember that I couldn't stop looking at myself and admiring how my body looked in the dress.

The Crepe bottom has multiple layers and is really fitted so it compresses your body a bit for a slimmer look, without constricting your movements. I felt that it was really fitted and flattering. We had some buttons added to the back of the dress because that was the look I wanted and I wanted to be able to pin the train up later during the evening. The buttons is 100% removable.

The Lace at the top is bold but feminine and I just felt like it elevated the look of the dress só much. The bodice is crafted really well - it pushed in all the right places and supported all the right areas, kept everything in place, no bra required. It is comfortable and the lace is not a rough texture at all, so it wouldn't scratch and scave under the arms for example. We had some strategically placed see-through sequins added to the lace parts on the dress, so every now and then your eye catches a bit of a shimmer on the dress.

The dress also has a little belt-effect in the middle of the waistline. It is definitely not a belt, but I felt like it highlighted my waistline beautifully and gave shape to the dress as well.

The dress can either be taken in or out at the seams on the sides - so you can alter the fit of the dress to your exact preference.
