The Dress
Purchased this dress in 2019, and wore for my June 2021 wedding. Repaired the bustle and and train after wedding. Took it to a detailed cleaner who removed all stains on the train and repaired lace. Dress is propped up and stuffed ready to start fresh! I am 5/4 and was approximately 185-190lbs day of my wedding. Fitted on the hips and slows slight clevage (bust is 46/48 DDD). Purchased for $1650 (with tax) and then added an additional $450 in alterations due to length of dress. The original dress was custom for someone 5'8, so I had the dress made for 5'4. Total cost was $2,100.
Also took in the top to tighten the chest in with a build in bra and added two buttons for the train (one for the lace and one for the satin undergarment. Will cover shipment costs!
Alterations
Took in the top for a tighter bust, added build in bra, two bustle buttons for the train, removed 3 inches length of the dress to accommodate 5'4 height. Dress hit my feet and I wore 3 inch heels. I did not trip!
