The Dress

NOTE: The white corset is a separate piece! If you prefer the sheer / full open back look of the original dress, you can wear it with nude cups instead of the white corset.

This dress will make you feel more beautiful than you ever could have imagined. There's truly no other dress like it on the market. It photographs beautifully from every angle, it's ethereal but elegant, you can move and dance in it all day, the silhouette is super flattering, and the appliqué detail will absolutely blow you away when you see it in person.

The dress will come to you pristine and pressed as it has been professionally dry cleaned by a cleaner specializing in wedding dresses.

Alterations

1) Hemmed the dress to be appropriate for my height (5"8 in heels)

2) I didn't like how the original sewn-in cups didn't match my skin and therefore looked like I was wearing a nude bra underneath that was showing through. (If you don't know what I mean, do a Google image search for "Berta Demi" and scroll through the photos.) I was also looking for more bust support so I could feel secure while dancing. I took the cups out and had a corset built instead, which is a separate piece that I will send with the dress. If you prefer the look with the corset, you can use that, or buy any white bridal/shapewear corset that fits you well. If like the sheer original design more, I recommend buying cups that match your skin as closely as possible and having them sewn in.

3) Changed zipper back to keyhole back - again, the original zipper didn't match my skin tone and I thought it looked a little strange. I also found the keyhole to be more comfortable and gave me better range of motion while still looking totally stunning! If you wanted to restore the original design, I imagine a tailor could just add a zipper or few more hooks to make it close again.
