The Dress

This is a beautiful, timeless Romona Keveza original from the minimalist collection (https://www.romonakeveza.com/minimalist). It has a very elegant corset bodice and a fluted skirt. The bodice has buttons down the middle and there are buttons all down the back and train as well.

I felt so elegant and pretty with a hint of sexy on my wedding day. The tailoring and quality is exceptional, which is something that was very important to me when I was dress shopping! The fabric is 5ply silk crepe which is custom to Romona and just the right thickness and weight to fall over your body smoothly for a clean silhouette. It is cut in all the right angles to create a balanced hourglass shape. It has an American bustle but that can be changed if you prefer a different look.

This was my dream dress and it would make me so happy to see it become another bride's dream dress! The dress comes with a beautiful classic cathedral length veil ($400 and also from Romona Keveza).

Fun fact: This dress was originally worn by Arianna Grande in Romona Keveza Red at the Grammy's (http://www.thefashionistastories.com/2016/02/ariana-grande-in-romona-keveza-at-58th.html) and then produced in white as a wedding dress :)

Length: I am 5'8 and wore 3 inch heels so the dress could fit someone up to 5'11 in flats or shorter in heels.

Condition: The dress has been fully cleaned by a bridal specialist. There are a few small spots on the bottom of the train. They are visible only if you are examining the fabric, but would not be visible if you are just walking around in the dress. If you hem the dress by an inch, the spots would be gone.

Alterations

I purchased this dress and had it fitted at the Romona Keveza flagship boutique in NYC so it has been treated with the utmost care and professionalism since Day 1. The dress was originally ordered in a 10 and then altered to fit my body. I am a size 6 on top and size 8 on the bottom and was 135 lbs at my wedding. The dress was also hemmed as per my height + heels (5'11). The dress can be worn as is or altered to fit a smaller size/shorter person but there is no extra fabric to make the dress bigger.
