The Dress

Hayley Paige Remmington Wedding Dress, Blush, size 8, Altered to Measurements.

A beautiful, unique dress. Got so many compliments the day of my wedding. It was very comfortable and practical to move around in all day. Didn’t have to fuss with constantly pulling it up.

Hayley Paige size 8 but altered to my size (I’m about a 2-4). Worn once for my wedding. I had the seamstress remove the train for easy movement (I thought bustling looked weird on this dress). I also had the seamstress sew in cups and she fit the dress to my measurements. I’m 123 lbs, 34A bust, 27 waist, 37 hips. Has NOT been dry cleaned. Some dirt near the hem (bottom, see pics). A couple beads coming off with threads loose (pics). The hem at the very bottom splitting slightly (pictured). None of the flaws are noticeable with the dress on and can probably be fixed by a seamstress and professional wedding dress cleaner easily. I didn’t notice any of the flaws until inspecting it closely prior to listing. Other sellers might not mention flaws but it is such a delicate dress I guarantee if it has been worn it will have a few. I’d rather be upfront with the flaws now and list at a lower price.

Paid $4200 with tax and around $800 for alterations.

Alterations

Cups sewn into bust.
Train removed and length cut for my height with flat shoes.
Taken in at the waist.
Sleeves shortened to hit at wrist.
Neckline lowered slightly.
Shoulders taken in.
