The Dress

Selling my beautiful custom-made Mariana Hardwick wedding dress...

The Brooklyn gown was customized to have full length bell sleeves and a very slight train in the same pearl beaded fabric. The slimline dress is fully lined with a draped pearl back detail.

It's a super modern but classic style. My original wedding was in the winter, so having long sleeves was really important to me. They fall so beautifully, and complement the low back of the gown that has a draping feature.

The base fabric is a thicker silk/satin, so was really easy to wear shapewear underneath and feel really confident on the day.

The Mariana Hardwick team were amazing to deal with, and helped me with multiple fittings up to picking up my dress in February 2022. I have left the designer label attached to the gown.

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned by Syndal's Bridal Dry Cleaners in Armadale, Melbourne. It is in near perfect condition - there are a few loose threads along the bottom back train of the dress, however are unnoticeable (easily cut off - and if altering the gown, would be removed altogether). I am quite tall (180cm), and believe this dress would fit an AU 10-12.

Unfortunately due to COVID and many delays to our Wedding, our day ended up changing a fair bit from the original plan. Instead of wearing the dress to a big wedding, we only ended up having professional photos taken, and then changed into something more casual. This gown has only been worn for 2 hours! I would love to see it go to a new home and be part of a beautiful wedding.
