The Dress

The Fara Sposa Farlyn gown is a classic ball gown style with strapless lace bodice and cascading layers of full tulle. The bottom of the dress features a delicate band/border. The back zips up and there is a slight train. The colour is ivory/blush with the outer layer of the dress being ivory and the underskirt being blush. I am happy to provide more information/photos if needed. I have selected “excellent” as there’s no damage or marks to my knowledge.

Alterations

The seamstress built-up the lace at the front of the bodice to create a slightly more pronounced sweetheart neckline the purpose of which was to provide more coverage to my bust.
The seamstress also built in a hidden corset so the dress could be secured at the waist and more drawn in without the external appearance of a corset or straps being required. The corset also allowed the dress to fit me as when I purchased I was a size 18, the dress was a size 16, and I became a size 12/14.
The seamstress also added 3x bustles allowing the train of the dress to be fastened higher up allowing me to easily dance (as seen in one of my images).
