The Dress

'Mira' by Rolling with Roses has this incredible sheen, created by tiny little flat sequins all over. It is a subtle sheen but, incredibly effective and really comes to life in the evening!
I had a summer wedding and it was a warm day but, I think this dress would work equally well in the winter because of the sparkle/sheen.
I had so many compliments on my wedding day and felt so amazing. The most important thing was that I felt so so comfortable and myself in it.
Other wedding dresses I tried on felt bulky and heavy. Whereas Mira just felt like 'me' and is so easy to wear.
I am a Uk size 12 for dresses and top half but, on the bottom half can sometimes feel more comfortable in a size 14 so, if you are a size 10 in high street (top & bottom) the dress will probably need to be taken in a little.
I absolutely loved wearing this dress and really want it to live its best life and make another bride feel as amazing as I did!

I have had the dress dry cleaned professionally. This cost £190. Due to the delicate nature of the sequins there are still stains from dirt on the hem of the dress. However, the fabric has retained its quality, no rips or tears. This dress would still be perfect for someone who is a bit shorter than me. I’m 172cm. The dress could then be taken up and would loose any visible stains and would look new.

Alterations

the only alteration I had was to the back. You will see the slight difference from the photo of the model in comparison to my close up where I am hugging my friend. I did this so I could wear a low bra but, ended up wearing a sort of body suit anyways. I do think the alteration helped hold the dress in a slightly better place on the top half so, I was pleased I made the alteration but, if you wanted the hole lower as the model has, then this wouldn't be a tricky alteration to make.
Other than that there were no changes made, just a standard size 10 of this dress.
