The Dress

This Alexandra Grecco gown fits like an absolute glove. It has a plunging V-neckline in front, an illusion back (sexy/sheer/see-through with extensive detail), hand-embroidered appliqué covering the entirety of the dress and subtle bell sleeves. It fits snug in all the right places (waist, shoulders), while allowing you to walk and move around with ease.

The back of the dress does up with a zipper and 11 small white buttons along the spine. 8 out of 11 of the buttons remain intact but all 11 loop holes are still on the dress. The dress has been professionally dry cleaned and still maintains its gorgeous white colour. There are very minimal spots on the edge of the train that have slightly darker marks on the sheer fabric over top. The intricate detail of the top sheer appliqué remains flawless throughout.

This dress is less than 1 year old, was purchased 8 months ago and only worn 5 months ago. The height measured below was while wearing my 3inch wedding heels.

The actual cost of the dress (not including tax) with all necessary alterations was $6070.

Alterations

This dress was designed as a 3 way split in the following sizes: Bust 6, Waist 8, Hips 10. Alterations included: hem, bustle, shoulders up with sleeves & hem, darts and back zip in with buttons. The sleeves were hemmed to sit just above the wrist with the bell sleeve touching the wrist (out of the way of your ring!) and the size of the bell was taken in just a bit for a more subtle flare. The shoulders were taken in slightly so there was no ruching of the back material. The waist was taken in slightly as well so it cinched just perfectly to give some shape.
