The Dress
Ballgown dress with sweetheart neckline, full length comprising of 5 layers. Cotton lined with satin underskirt and 3 further layers of voile. The bottom voile layer is plain, the middle voile layer is sequinned and top layer is lace inlaid with beads, sequins and diamanté. The upper part of the dress is boned and corseted with satin ribbons to hold corset in place making a decorative back detail. Skirt falls from the waist with 5 layers as described above. The whole hem is edged in lace and is 140cm from neckline to floor with an additional 50cm of voile lace edged train. The dress has been cleaned and is in perfect condition with the exception of one very small (pin head) mark on the satin underskirt as pictured in the photo set. This is not visible when the dress is worn.
The dress would suit any bride sized between 14 and 18 as it has been altered but has sufficient seam allowance for further fittings.
