The Dress

If you want to feel like a true bride on your wedding day, this is THE dress. I wanted a simple, classic wedding dress, with a bit of a modern twist. The high neckline shows off your arms and shoulders, the sheer back (which I had customized from the original full fabric overlay)is perfect for those who are looking for a dress with a sheer back, the illusion plunging neckline is a perfect touch of sexiness, and the full skirt with horsehair layers adds a touch of elegance and oomph to feel like a true wedding dress. I originally wanted form fitting and simple elegance, but when I tried those on, they didn’t feel special enough for a wedding day. This is your one chance to wear a full classic wedding dress… and this dress is just that!

About the dress:
The dress has built in pads, but of course additional padding can be added. I am a 32A and did not need additional padding. The dress was hemmed and had a bustle added. The bodice has boning. There are functioning buttons up the back with zipper underneath. The skirt has horse hair layers. The dress is not overly heavy and I felt comfortable wearing it all night with (block) heels on.

Condition:
Considered in near excellent condition. Exterior of dress has no noticeable wear or damage. Inside of neckline has slight makeup markings (not visible from exterior of dress). Inside hemline has slight dark markings at edge where fabric touches floor. This is on bottom fabric layer that is hidden from outer layers, so it is not noticeable on exterior of dress. Dress has not been dry cleaned. Dry cleaning will likely remove all of the markings noted above. Happy to share additional pictures with requestor as needed.

Alterations

Length altered. Bustle added. No other alterations made to bodice or waistline.
