The Dress
Between the lace, key hole back, deep V and fit-and-flare cut this dress is the perfect combination of elegant, modern and sexy. I'm a 34A bra and found the bust to be a bit big for me even after alterations. If I were a 34B I would have filled it out much better! The dress is easy to walk, sit and dance comfortably in. It has a bit of a train which can be bustled, but the during the reception the button loop came out so this would need to be sewn in again. There is dirt/heal marks underneath the dress, but not on the outside, so I recommend getting it dry cleaned. Needs a steam/press to crisp up/shape the amazing lace cap sleeves again.
Alterations
Originally a US size 6. It was taken in at the waist & hips and hemmed at the bottom. Lace sleeves were quite delicate so the alterations specialist added shear fabric underneath for extra support and to better hold the shape of the sleeves. Bustle added, but button loop needs to be sewn in again.
