The Dress

Hi, future bride! Congratulations!
I had the honor of customizing my wedding dress with Dina Hawidi (@dinahawidiofficial on Instagram) and it turned out to be an absolute dream. This is my brain-child, so I absolutely love this gown and would love to see another bride in it. It has been cleaned and preserved since my wedding last year.

The size is honestly between a 4US and 6US.

The designer layered fabrics to create a beautiful creamy shade that contrasted well with the white glitter and shine of the beading. The train is 2 meters long - which was long enough to look luxurious, elegant and regal, but not enough to immobilize me haha I was able to move and dance!

Of course I could not ignore the beautiful structured top...it was so unique to the dress and the amount of compliments in person and online I got from it was unreal. Truly a show-stopper and so well-made. Speaking of well-made, it is beaded from head to toe, so it is very heavy!

***I can include the hand-crafted jeweled crown and four meter veil if you want - it has the same crystal branching as the dress...going across the top and ombre-ing down.

***I am ethnically Egyptian, so my gown was made for a large Arab wedding - hence the extra-ness haha

Alterations

-There is a hoop for underneath the dress that I took out. I have it still, so I can send it to you if you want the dress to look extremely ballgown-y. I chose to take out the hoop because I wanted the dress to be more billowy, soft and whimsical in contrast to the structured top.

-The front bottom of the gown is folded and sown up because it was long on me. Mind you I am 5'8" and 6' in heels - so if you are taller than that, you have plenty of room to let that folded part down and wear it that way. Or if you decide to wear the hoop, letting that part down is an option. All depends on the height you are!
