The Dress
"The Palms" dress from Georgia Young Couture, was the perfect dress for my wedding day. The structure and shape of the dress is so flattering - the beautiful A-line with soft skirt, and then the very structured bodice with the beautiful detail around the bust, was the perfect shape. I got so many compliments on the dress, it definitely stole the show!
The asymmetrical arm added a modern twist, but could also tuck this away for the evening for a different look and for dancing! I had a very thin white belt custom made to bring in the waist even further - I couldn't get over how tiny it made my waist look! You could wear with or without the belt.
The material was so light, soft and comfortable, and made it easy to move around all day. It has a silk underlay for extra comfort.
The dress has been professionally dry cleaned and in pristine condition.
Alterations
The dress was made for 12-14 originally (Bust 38"/96cm, Waist 30.5"/77cm) but was professionally tailored by My Private Tailor and brought in 10cm around the bust, and around 6cm around the waist. It would comfortably fit a 10 - 12.
