The Dress

Truly be the belle of the ball in this timeless ball gown silhouette. The neckline is a modern take on a sweetheart with a fold over split detail. The royal brocade fabrication includes subtle rose details with metallic silver threading that will catch the light just right. Finishing this wedding dress look are covered buttons extending the length of the train.

Comes with a detachable bow custom designed in consultation with Matthew Christopher himself. Can be worn 3 ways (ribbons are detachable from bow and bow is detachable from dress). Bow is affixed to dress with hidden clasps. Custom built in bra is 34E. Strings added within dress for a French bustle.

I am 5’1 (wore 3 inch heels), 135 pounds with a large bust (typically I wear size 6 in dresses). The dress is a heavy material but photographs extremely well and stays in place without needing constant adjustments. Even though it is strapless, it stayed up all day because it was held in place by my waist.

Alterations

Dress was shortened to for 5’4 height(5’1 with 3 inch heels). Waist was taken in 2 inches. Will fit a street size 6.
