The Dress

The Blakleigh dress originally comes in a satin fabric but I had it customized to crepe fabric in the ivory color. This is an off the shoulder dress with a mermaid style bottom and it includes a corset on the inside which helps keep everything looking smooth and flawless! The dress includes beautiful buttons on the back from top to bottom! The dress does include a hidden bustle, so the train can be up for the reception but it will still keep the mermaid shape!

The dress has been dry cleaned and has no visible damage. I had an intimate wedding ceremony and dinner with immediate family since it was during Covid, so the dress is in great condition.

Alterations

I ordered the dress in a larger size, so it could be altered on the sides and length. I normally wear a size 6 in dresses and would say this fits like an 8/10 in wedding dress sizes since those tend to run larger. My specific measurements are included above. I am 5'6 and wore 4 inch heels with this dress. Also, I added a hidden bustle to the back. There were 5 bustles added under the dress and you can see it bustled in the last photo that is outdoors.
