The Dress

This beautiful Alison Davis overskirt was purchased for my big overseas church wedding. The wedding was not-to-be due to covid, however we had an elopement where it was used for a ceremony and photoshoot only. This is the perfect skirt to match with any bodice or to be worn over a dress to create a unique ceremony look!! This Mikado overskirt was altered in length only, the waist is an unaltered size 8, and could be taken in if needed. I wear 8-10 clothing usually. The train is gorgeous and makes such a statement. This is current season in stores now. Please note it is the overskirt for sale only. The matching bow and waistband can be purchased from Alison Davis (the waistband could also be made from the hemline or train if you are shortening the skirt). I am 5'9 and wore high heels, so the length of this skirt would suit anyone of the same height or shorter. The skirt was GENTLY HAND WASHED and looks perfect! No bustle was ever added to this skirt, so it has not had any other alterations aside from the hemline.
