The Dress

A fantastic, "Hollywood"-like wedding dress I wore for my wedding in February (end of winter season). Bought at Isabel Mueller's boutique in Lausanne (Switzerland) - website lamariee.ch. Creations made in Spain.

I first wanted something simple and handy - and eventually ended up with this magnificent, feminine and playful dress. Why? - Because after having tried on 30 other dresses, this one made me feel "that this is it".

DESCRIPTION:
- Neck / bust: beautifully designed upper part with a see-through lace-fabric on the decoltée-area. Two transparent small buttons on the top back to fix the dress. A slightly padded bra-part that underlines your feminity.
- Back: Two ornamented fabric bands frame the back in a subtle way. Discreet zip on the lower back with a tiny metal hook to keep the dress in place.
Train: long train with same four layers of fabrics with which the dress is made of: silk-like material // georgette or crêpe like material // tulle with silver glitter and finally the lace fabric.
- Accessoires: Comes with a big fabric-needle to fix the train to onto the back part of the dress once not want to have it anymore on the floor.
- I wore ivory sneakers and a 100% pure wool-stole from marryandthebride.com. Note that these itms are not sold with the dress and not included in the price.

WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?
The dress was dry-cleaned at the end of April 2021 and is in perfect ivory condition.
It's a dress that allows you to be independent on your wedding day and this despite the impressive amount of fabric! I kept the train down the whole night and held it during the dancing to follow the rhythm of the night (yeah, it was a wild night).
