The Dress

Truvelle's "Kyra" gown is not your typical wedding dress, for brides who are just that — not typical. This beaded, smoke tulle gown is a little art deco with just the right amount of sparkle. Kyra’s deep v bodice is tied together with chiffon ties that cross on the bodice and tie in a bow on the back. The tulle beaded straight skirt features a godet in the back for, you know, that little extra.

The bodice is lined with a stretch satin, and lies close to the skin. Support is provided through the straps, taught mesh, and waistband.The length measures roughly 46″ at the front and roughly 71″ at the back. It can easily be shortened using an experienced bridal tailor.

This was a sample gown available to try on at our boutique. It was never worn for a wedding and is in good condition.

Condition: Some beads may need to be reapplied throughout the lace. When your seamstress cuts the skirt to accommodate your height, spare beads can be used from the excess fabric taken off. Loose threads can be secured with your bridal tailor as well! One seam inside the bodice lining needs sewing back together, see picture for detail. The mesh on the neckline has slightly ripped in one corner, this can easily be fixed in alterations.

Sizing: As this is a sample, it has a flexible waistband that can accommodate a waist measurement of up to 32". There are several hooks to accommodate that, some are loose, but once the waistband is altered to your size, you will only need one hook&eye, and the others can be removed. All of Truvelle's gowns only require your bust and waist measurement - no hips needed. The hard waist band highlights the smallest part of your waist, and provides support in the gown.
