The Dress

I commissioned this custom dress from ZAKAA Bride's flagship store in Virginia at the end of 2019, and it was completed the summer of 2020. The pictures I have posted of myself wearing it were from my final fitting, but I have not worn it since (see more below about why I don't need it)!
As for condition, it is obviously brand new, but I want to mention that I had a tinted body sunscreen on the day of the fitting and a bit of it rubbed off on the inside of the dress (nothing on the outside at all). Also, on one sleeve where the buttons are attached to the tulle, there is a small tear, but once the buttons are done up, it's hardly noticeable.
Some of the unique features of this dress are, of course, its long sleeves and full coverage. I opted for the French bustle, which is fastened by easy-to-find buttons underneath all the lace/tulle layers. There are 7 layers to this dress, with 2 being the main body and then alternating layers of tulle with sparkles, a very faint blueish color, and lace appliques. You will see that the dress is a size 10 (label size, of course), and I am 5'5" but wearing 2-3/4" heels with the dress.

I got married in October of 2020 in Finland in a small ceremony with only 4 guests, so I wore a different gown. Bringing a delicate, heavy dress along wasn't very appealing since I had to take 3 flights to get to my destination, and the wedding plans had been altered so much because of covid. I sincerely want this dress to go to a good home where it will be cherished and enjoyed by many.
