The Dress

I brought it in Sep 2019 from Paperswan Bridal for 2,200. I wore it once and it has been drycleaned professionally at a cost of $200.

I had minimal tailoring done to the dress, I had it taken up by 5cm and it was tightened around the lace overlay on the shoulders.

It really is the most comfortable dress, no boning, corset or restrictions. I felt I could dance, move and eat all night which was important to me. There was no need to wear a bra as well.

I am a size 10-12 and it fits really comfortably, would fit anyone a NZ size 10-12 well.

Luxurious lace over soft jersey means this dress drapes beautifully, without compromising on comfort. The bodice features a bateau neckline, with lace overlay and scalloped edging at the shoulders laid over a sweetheart bodice – ideal for larger busts. The translucent lace overlay continues at the sides and back, with a deep V cut to the waist.

The skirt is slim, with a subtle mermaid silhouette to accentuate your curves. It flares out into a sweeping train for an unforgettable walk down the aisle.

Alterations

5cm hemline taken up, and tightened around lace on shoulders. I also had the white underlay removed to the bottom of the dress so the train can be seen more clearly with just lace and no underlay on ground.
