The Dress

This dress! I absolutely loved it and I know someone else will love it just as much as I did! I got my Dear Heart Dawson at the Lovely Bride in NYC and then had it altered at BeFitted in Alexandria, VA. The dress is A-Line and cuts right at the ribs for a very flattering effect. There is a white belt that I covered with a a sparkly belt to accentuate the Aline. This will be included in the dress, but can also be easily removed. The dress is a deep V, neck line. It was a little too deep for me, so I added some sheer fabric to keep the deep V look, while keeping the girls a bit more covered. This will also be included but could be easily removed. I had a french bustle added to the dress. The horse hair train is absolutely beautiful and I also love how the dress flows once bustled up!

The dress was professionally cleaned. It is in great condition. I got married outside and it was a bit muddy, so there is some fading at the bottom, mostly on the inside. If you are local, I would love to set up a time for you to see the dress and try it on before buying. Of course it’ll never be a perfect fit, but you’ll want to make sure you like the he style and it’s in your size range.
