The Dress

This Mark Zunino dress is so beautiful and one of a kind, A-line dress with a sweetheart neckline and zippered sheer panel on the back, no need to wear a bra (see picture 7 taken during my alteration session, ignore the white bra band I was wearing). I am 4’11” and wore a 4 inch heels on my wedding day. Dress was bought new at Kleinfeld in NYC, wore for a total of 2 hours for ceremony, first dance and photo sessions before and after the ceremony.

I had the dress professionally dry cleaned by David’s Bridal a few months after the wedding. Some stain from the dirt is slightly visible on the inside layer of the dress after dry cleaning. However, it won't be visible when the dress is actually worn.

I would love to keep this lovely dress forever, but it would be great if someone could love it as much as I do and wear it on their special day. Let me know if you have any questions or would like more photos. Open to reasonable offers.

Alterations

Since I am petite, the dress required several alterations. Bustle was added - see picture 4 when bustle was used during first dance. Bra cup inserts were added - hand stitched, removable, I am 32A but would fit 1-2 bigger cup sizes if inserts were removed. Dress length was hemmed for 5’3” height, train length was untouched. Appliques from the hemmed part were stitched back on the dress to preserve the original look (picture 8 on the model). Extra appliques were kept and included in case you want to stitch more back on the dress.
