The Dress

When I first found this gown on Pinterest I instantly fell in love. Words are not enough to describe how beautiful and comfortable I felt on our wedding day, I didn’t want to take it off. I could move freely, dancing all night and I received so many compliments the whole day on how stunning the dress looked.

Inbal Dror is an Israeli fashion designer renowned for her contemporary wedding gowns, having designed for Ivanka Trump, Beyoncé and other celebrities.

The dress has a plunging neckline and open back with a dainty key hole, the material is silk and chantilly fine detailed lace with pearl beads lining the diamond shaped sleeves. There is a thin satin belt that wraps around the waist with two decorative flowers at the front and hand embroidery detailing the entire dress. A simple floor length veil from Inbal Dror is included also

I am the second owner and had it sent over along with the veil from the UK.

Alterations

The original owner had alterations made to measure for her, the main one being she had a panel fitted to cover the key hole on the lower back. I had this removed to create the key hole again as this was an important standout feature for me.
I also had cups added for breast shape and support.
A fine thin strap was added to secure the top of the dress across the shoulders
A pearl button was added just below the derrière for the train of the dress to pin on to for dancing, a bussel loop is also attached on the train for the option of wearing it on your wrist
The dress and veil have both been dry cleaned and some pearl beads and crystals were lost in the process and the remaining beads have lost some of their coating, which is only noticeable close up
