The Dress

Augusta Jones Skylar wedding dress.

Stunning dress purchased new in 2018 for £2,000. Worn once for my wedding in September 2018. Excellent condition - it was a rainy day and I only went outside for a short time, with the dress held off the ground the entire time. Has been professionally dry cleaned and came out almost as new. Now boxed and I have the original labels, dress bag and hanger.

It was originally a size 14 on top and 16 on the bottom, but then taken in. I am generally a size 12 on top and a 14 on the bottom and would say that's what the dress now is. I can share exact measurements from my seamstress if required and anyone interested is very welcome to come and try it on. I'm 5'6" and wore 2.5 inch heels.

Alterations

I had the bust and waist taken in so now a size 12 on top and 14 on bottom. I also had the dress slightly shortened and have the material that was taken off. A bustle has been sewn in.
