The Dress

Dress is a gorgeous 100% silk shell Priscilla of Boston gown (made in 2011) with a short flowing train and studded with moonstones along full length of straps and around bust circumference. Color is very light ivory, not stark white. There are buttons from the hook closure at mid-low back all the way to the end of the train - a very unique touch that enhances the dress's beauty and makes it very sleek. The buttons are only functional at back of dress, the rest down to end of train are accessory. There are bustle loops within the train so it can be bustled up to hit right at floor length.

Wedding was in May in the southeast - warmer weather and the dress was comfortable without being too hot.

Dress was fully dry-cleaned by J. Scheer and Co. wedding gown preservation specialists immediately following wedding and remained in sealed box until December 2018 when bride decided to sell.

There are a couple of moonstones missing -- 2 on either size of back zipper and 2 on the back of each strap. The moonstones missing on straps are in the same spot on both straps.

Alterations

Bodice of dress was altered to slightly size down around midsection. Soft bra cups were sewn into dress so it does not require any kind of special bra be worn with it.
Chest size of bride = 32A, waist size of bride = 26" -- final dress fit was snug and probably closer to size 00.

A personalization was made on behalf of the bridal boutique where dress was purchased. The dress has a blue monogram with wedding date and couple's initials sewn into dress at the back closure. This is only visible on the interior and does not show at all when dress is on.
