The Dress

This is a show stopper dress! For a bride that wants to be noticed! It was my dream dress, and could be yours too. I felt amazing in it and loved sashaying around with my flowing train.

The colour of the dress is "champagne". The underlay of the dress is champagne but all the lace and tulle are ivory. It makes for a warmer, softer ivory look. The description from Essense is, "Ivory Lace, Almond Tulle and Ivory Regency Organza over Champagne Gown".

I'm a standard size 8, 170cm tall + 8cm shoes, with a 10F bust and a bit of a tum. I purchased a 12 to accommodate my bust and then had the rest professionally altered to fit my body.

I also had the dress customised to add off-the-shoulder sleeves. I liked it better this way as it made the dress more romantic looking and detracted from my bust. They were designed to be easily tucked in to created two different looks, or easily removed altogether. I've included two photos from the Essense website of the dress without sleeves, for reference.

The dress has a bustle and also little hidden ribbon in the underlay for tying the train up. I've included an average looking photo of me at the bridal shop with it in the 'tied up' mode. This makes it shorter and easier to move around it (i.e. for the reception).

Please note, I have just found a tear in one of the bottom layers of tulle. Obviously with that many layers it's hard to find! It certainly wasn't noticeable on the day! It will need a small mend or trim.

I also have a 3m veil which can be included for an additional $100.
