The Dress

With a sleek silhouette, this lace-back wedding dress from Essense of Australia is given a modern update. Featuring a flattering high neckline, this Lace and Crepe gown is accented with Alençon and French lace detailing on its cap sleeves, throughout side cut outs and down the side of the gown, elongating the body. The back of this gown features a unique cameo back, highlighted by laser-cut lace detailing on the train. The gown zips up beneath fabric buttons.

The lace is on a sheer backing in a porcelain color. The train is rather long and the fabric buttons run all the way down the back to the end of the train. The lace wraps around the entire bottom and the lace and buttons are shown off with a beautiful traditional bustle.

This is a lovely dress but I want my closet back, make me an offer!

Alterations

The dress was hemmed, I'm 5'4" and wore 3" heels. The hips and waist were taken in slightly and the shoulder seems were altered in to make a smooth bust line. The belt that came separately with the dress originally was sewn in to cover the front seem, so it would not cover the lace inlays and back panel. A traditional over-bustle was added to showcase the buttons that run all the way down the train. The dress has only been altered and worn once. It was professionally cleaned and pressed after.
