The Dress

Beautiful Gwendolynne ‘Sabine’ silk slip with hand beaded tulle overlay wedding gown in size 12 but is small so would say its more of a 10-12. It is a stunning vintage, 1920s style design. The satin slip is cut on the bias and is a flattering antique oyster colour which looks amazing in wedding photos with the tulle overlay. The gorgeous overlay features hand beading and the detail is incredible; art-deco style beading over the entire dress, gorgeous beaded capped sleeves and an amazing brooch style clasp on the neck. The keyhole back is extremely elegant.

The dress also has a gorgeous train that can be hooked up and a row of elegant covered buttons down the back. Would fit someone 5 foot 6 inches tall and with an 8cm heel, or taller person with shorter heels.

The dress was bought from Luella's Boudoir in London. The dress is in excellent condition, worn just once. I had the dress professionally dry cleaned as recommended by the Gwendolynne team in Australia.

The is a small hole by the buttons (see pictured). It is not visible when the dress is on! A seamstress has added in poppers so able to wear a strapless bra but be reassured that it wouldn't move during the day.
