The Dress

This dress was a dream to wear. We married in July and it was warm, but light enough to wear on the hottest summer day. The Sabine over-top provides a beautiful French lace detail, with a little bit of sparkle for the evening.

The Peyton under-dress is silk of a beautiful weight and a really forgiving bias-cut.

I am 165cm tall and a New Zealand size 10/12.

Charlie Brear is clever - this Peyton under-dress can be worn with this top for day or evening and also swapped with a number of other over-dresses/tops etc. to provide a different look. If I'm completely honest, the Sabine top could be kept and worn as a glam top with anything from jeans to a skirt and so it actually makes this a bit of a buy in terms of re-use. I think the under-dress could also be used again for functions of many different descriptions, but I don't move in that kind of circle any longer so probably won't get the use out of it.

Has had bra cups added between the silk layer and the lining. A tie has been added to the back to ensure that the straps stay on the shoulder.
