The Dress

This breath-taking Maggie Sottero Lisette gown is featured in her 2016 Fall Collection. From the second I tried this gown on; I knew it was the one.
It was the embroidered lace ornamented with Swarovski crystals. It was the dramatic plunging V-illusion neckline. It was the delicate jeweled spaghetti straps that accented my shoulders. It was the crystal buttons lining the zipper closure. It was the voluminous ball gown tulle skirt. This dress is both modern but traditional, elegant yet dramatic, sophisticated yet romantic which is what makes it absolutely stunning. This dress was incredibly comfortable and kept me mobile all night long, even while on the dance floor. I received an overwhelming amount of compliments on it and definitely felt like a graceful princess bride.

I purchased this dress as a size 4 petite, and then professionally altered it down to a size 2. I also had the bottom of the skirt hemmed another inch. I stand at 5’1 and wore 4-inch jimmy Choo stroppy heels and the dress touched the floor perfectly. Full train with a 4-button bustle for easier mobility post ceremony. Because of the lace, a bra was out of the question so I had cups added in during alterations, yay! This dress was only worn once, the day of my wedding. Garment bag included. There is a small tear on the tulle at the bottom that can be easily amended however it isn’t noticeable. This dress has not been dry-cleaned (there are no stains or discoloration). As pictured above, the gown is worn with a veil. Veil is not included in purchase.
