The Dress

This gorgeous, elegant dress was custom handmade by Bernadette Pimenta from her Couture range.

It is made with a heavy silk and full silk lining, and has delicate hand beaded French lace sewn onto the bodice. The colour is called ‘Silk White’ but is more soft ivory than a stark white.

With a simple elegant design and gorgeous beading, this dress made my wedding day everything I dreamed of! The back of dress comes down in a slight v shape, with a zipper for ease to get into but which is then concealed by silk buttons. There is a small train that can be bustled onto a loop at the back for later in the night when you’re on the dance floor.

The bodice has bra support in the front and a strap that clasps in the back so its snug and supportive. The dress was extremely well made and still in excellent condition. The dress has been professionally dry cleaned straight after the wedding.

I paired the dress with a tiered, floor length veil. If you’d like this included, I’m happy to throw it in for free (bought for $350) as it just made the dress on the day and has a silk trim which matched the dress perfectly.
