The Dress

Beautiful satin dress with lace trim and small beading/embroidery detailing. The dress is fully lined and corseted and there is also a netting under skirt.

The dress is labelled size 14 however because of the lace up back could fit 12-16 and obviously could be altered to have taken in or out.

The dress has not been altered in any way and in the end I was a size 12 for my wedding day and we just laced it up tighter.

The skirt has a wrap around panel with lace trim on the diagonal - there is a full skirt underneath so no gaps! There is ruche detail from the lace panelling into the skirt. The train can be hooked up from half way down the train to the button at the base of the lace up back which means you still see the lace around the bottom of the dress and the train continues the ruche.

I have tried to provide pictures from sufficient angles to show the detail (and I have more photos).

The dress is in excellent condition and there is no damage anywhere including all of the lace. You can of course have the dress professionally cleaned however given there are only minor marks on the inside of the dress (eg. underneath the train from the floor) which cannot be seen when the dress is worn I have decided to sell as is.

The dress weighs 2.5kg therefore it can be collected from Stamford, Lincolnshire or I can package and have it couriered. I have looked at prices and with the necessary insurance given high value this appears to be £10-20 however I will be able to provide a final quote upon sale and details of where the dress needs to be sent.
