two pieces - the first layer is like wearing a long slip, the top layer is beadwork embroidered. NOT a heavy dress, VERY COMFORTABLE. the dress was professionally cleaned. i am usually size 10 au, but this dress is size 8 and it fits me very well. it was only altered lengthwise. i am 167cm in height and wore 2.5in heels approx and still floor length.
